Hartmann Hydrofilm Plus Transparent Film Dressing with Absorbent Pad

General Information

Hartmann Hydrofilm Plus is a sterile, self-adhesive, transparent film dressing with an absorbent, low-adherent wound pad. The waterproof, bacteria-proof film protects slightly exuding wounds while the pad absorbs light exudate - ideal for post-operative wounds and minor injuries. Available in 5cm x 7.2cm and 9cm x 10cm.

Materials

Polyurethane film backing, rosin-free hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive, wound pad of polyethylene mesh with viscose fibres.

Directions

• Clean and dry the skin around the wound.
• Partly peel back covers 1 and 2 and place the pad centrally over the wound.
• Remove covers 1 and 2 fully and press the film down gently.
• Remove the remaining covers and press gently onto the skin.
• To remove, lift one edge and gently stretch the film parallel to the skin.

Warnings

• Always read the label and use only as directed.
• Sterile, single use only. Do not use if the individual pack is damaged or opened. Do not re-sterilise.
• If the wound is deep, bleeding heavily, shows signs of infection (increasing redness, swelling, heat, pain or pus) or does not heal, see your healthcare professional.
• Not suitable for heavily exuding wounds.
