General Information

Hartmann Peha-haft is a breathable, elastic, cohesive conforming bandage for holding wound dressings in place. It sticks to itself but not to skin, hair or clothing, so no clips or tape are needed. It is particularly useful on joints and on conical or round parts of the body. Available in 2.5cm, 4cm, 6cm, 8cm and 10cm widths, each 4m stretched.

Materials

Approx. 43% viscose, 37% cotton and 20% polyamide with a cohesive coating. Latex free. Non-sterile.

Directions

• Use to hold primary and secondary dressings, cannulae, catheters and tubes, splints and padding in place.
• Apply over the dressing with even, overlapping turns, sticking the bandage to itself to finish - no clips or tape required.
• Do not apply too tightly.

Warnings

• Always read the label and use only as directed.
• Do not apply too tightly. Remove and reapply if you notice numbness, tingling, swelling, discolouration or increased pain below the bandage.
• Non-sterile - do not place directly on an open wound; use over a suitable wound dressing.
