General Information

Apohealth Famciclovir Once contains the antiviral famciclovir and is used to treat cold sores (herpes labialis) in adults. Taken as a single dose at the first sign of a cold sore (tingling, itching or burning), it helps stop the cold sore developing and shortens healing time. Directions

Adults 18 years and over: take all 3 tablets together as a single dose as soon as the first symptoms appear. Do not use once a hard crust has formed. Read the consumer medicine information before use.

Warnings

Tell your pharmacist if you have kidney problems, a weakened immune system, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Not for genital herpes unless advised by your doctor. See your doctor if the cold sore has not improved or you have frequent outbreaks. Keep out of reach of children.
