General Information

Micolette Micro-Enema is a small-volume (5ml) enema for the relief of constipation. It works locally in the lower bowel to soften the stool and help the bowel empty, usually within a short time of use. This pack contains 50 single-dose 5ml tubes.

Ingredients

Active ingredients (per mL): sodium citrate dihydrate 90mg, sodium lauryl sulfoacetate 9mg, sorbitol 625mg. Contains potassium sorbate as a preservative.

Directions

Adults and children over 3 years: give the contents of one tube rectally as a single dose, as directed on the label or by your healthcare professional. Read the enclosed leaflet for full instructions before use. Do not remove the tube from the carton until just before use.

Warnings

Always read the label and use only as directed. For rectal use only - do not swallow. Not for use in children under 3 years. Drink plenty of water and increase dietary fibre, unless your constipation is caused by a medicine. Prolonged use of laxatives is undesirable and may lead to dependence.
